What this site is
Northside Piers publishes long-form editorial coverage of the Williamsburg waterfront. Three founding articles cover the history of the market, the amenity stack inside its luxury buildings, and the texture of the neighborhood at street level. New volumes will be added as the corridor evolves.
The site takes its name from the Toll Brothers City Living development on Kent Avenue, one of the corridor's earliest and most prominent residential addresses, and uses it as a reference point throughout the coverage.
Real estate value along any waterfront is ultimately a function of the surrounding neighborhood's infrastructure and trajectory. In Williamsburg, that infrastructure has strengthened considerably over the past two decades.
What it isn't
This is not a listings site. There are no available units, no contact-an-agent form, and no MLS feed. If you are evaluating a specific building or unit, your broker is better equipped than we are. If you are looking for context, history, or a careful read of the corridor, you are in the right place.
Editorial standards
Articles are written in a restrained, descriptive register. We avoid marketing clichés, avoid em dashes, avoid emoji, and avoid the kind of breathless copy that has soaked into much real estate writing. Where we cite figures or events, we name dates and sources. Where we describe a neighborhood, we describe it as it is, not as a brochure.
